Finvestalk means the platform operated under the name FVT GLOBAL CONSULTING PRIVATE LIMITED. User means an account holder or visitor; Expert means an independent provider listed on the platform; Account means your authenticated profile. Consultation means a chat, audio or video service between a User and an Expert. Content includes profiles, messages, files, reviews and consultation materials. Fees are the displayed service charges and applicable disclosed taxes. Wallet means the account ledger of prepaid service credits and adjustments. Finny means the platform’s AI assistant.
02Eligibility and acceptance
You must be 18 or older, able to enter a binding contract and entitled to supply the information you provide. The platform does not offer child accounts or a parental contracting flow. Use accurate information and protect your sign-in credentials. Tell support about unauthorised use; liability is assessed on the facts and applicable law, not automatically imposed for every action on a compromised account.
Read these Terms and the linked policies before affirmatively accepting them. A booking or payment confirmation authorises the specific displayed transaction. Marketing permission and sensitive-data consent are separate where required.
03Finvestalk and Experts
Finvestalk operates discovery, matching, account access, communication, billing, payment collection, support and safety tools, and Finny. Finvestalk remains responsible for its own representations, service delivery and legal obligations. Independent Experts are responsible for the professional services they agree to provide and their applicable professional duties.
An Expert label, identity check, platform access or platform badge does not establish regulatory authorisation. Regulated investment advice, securities research, insurance distribution or other restricted services require the appropriate registration or valid exemption and all applicable client safeguards. No service may be offered solely because a category can be selected. Neither Finvestalk nor Finny is represented here as SEBI-registered, RBI-authorised or government-approved.
04Consultations and prices
Review the Expert, scope, communication mode, rate, charging unit and applicable taxes before confirming. Consultation billing uses session records and configured metering rules; it is not a promise of exact per-second charging. A wallet hold reserves spending capacity and is not itself a final charge. Check the completed-session statement and raise discrepancies through Support.
Join on time and maintain suitable connectivity. End a session if you do not wish to continue. Cancellations, connection failures, partial delivery and misconduct are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy; confirmation alone does not create an undisclosed no-show penalty. An Expert must disclose any additional engagement terms needed for a lawful professional service before it starts.
05Consultation charges and Wallet
Members have no plans or subscriptions. Add money to your wallet and pay according to the expert’s listed consultation rate for the time used. Experts may list chat at ₹10 or more per minute and audio at ₹15 or more per minute; these are rate floors, not a flat consultation charge or a minimum session bill. Consultation prices are base service prices. Applicable GST is added separately, and the base, GST and total payable are shown before starting. Wallet funding is separate from consultation billing. Your consultation invoice and transaction record show the actual service amount, GST and total; internal expert earnings and withholding are not member charges.
Experts have no paid subscription or paid platform-access plan. The first calendar month of expert platform access is a free trial beginning when activated. No card, renewal payment or automatic subscription charge is required. The fixed 30% consultation commission applies during and after the trial. Approval, identity, compliance and account-status requirements still apply.
Finvestalk is the seller on the member consultation invoice. The expert sets the consultation base price, at no less than ₹10 per minute for chat and ₹15 per minute for audio. Finvestalk receives a fixed 30% of that base amount; the expert's gross share is the remaining 70%. GST is charged separately to the member and is excluded from the commission base and expert earnings. Applicable income-tax TDS is withheld from expert gross earnings to determine expert net earnings. Payment gateway fees are recorded separately and are not automatically deducted from the expert's share.
The initial product configuration is 18% GST in addition to the base price and 1% income-tax TDS on expert gross earnings from the first rupee, with no annual exemption under the configured business rule. GST and TDS applicability, rates, withholding base, threshold and effective dates follow the authorized configuration and applicable tax treatment. These defaults are not a promise of a statutory rate. GST TCS, if applicable, is separate from both GST and income-tax TDS. The saved transaction and its invoice or statement record the amounts actually applied.
Razorpay processes gateway payments. Wallet credits record amounts available for eligible platform services; they are not bank deposits, investments, interest-bearing accounts or a promise of deposit protection. Members do not have an ordinary cash-withdrawal feature. This description does not determine the regulatory classification of the payment arrangement.
Promotional credits show their own eligibility and expiry terms; historical paid Wallet balances and records remain available for review.
Taxes, supplier identity, platform fees and any deductions must be stated on the applicable checkout, invoice or agreed commercial schedule. These Terms do not introduce a tax rate or authorise undisclosed charges.
06Content, reviews and permitted use
You retain ownership of your Content and grant Finvestalk the limited right to store, transmit, display and process it to provide the requested service, secure it and meet legal duties. Private messages and files are not licensed for advertising. Public profile and review content can be displayed as part of the marketplace. Experts retain their existing tools and templates; consultation deliverables may be used for your personal or internal business purpose unless separately agreed.
Reviews must describe genuine experience. Do not publish confidential details, impersonate others, conceal paid endorsements or manipulate ratings. Report content or intellectual-property concerns through Support, identifying the content and basis of the complaint. Fair criticism is not misconduct merely because it is negative.
Prohibited conduct includes fraud, harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal content, malware, scraping personal information, impersonation, market manipulation, insider dealing, guaranteed-return claims and unauthorised regulated advice. Do not request passwords, PINs or OTPs, move client funds outside approved payments, or misuse another person’s data.
07Finny and privacy
Finny is an AI assistant. It can make mistakes, omit information or use outdated material. Verify important calculations and statements. It does not replace an authorised professional, suitability assessment or regulated client agreement. Relevant conversation and account context may be processed by configured AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Confirm the details of an action before authorising it.
Chat and uploaded files are stored; LiveKit supports audio/video transport. The current application does not offer platform call recording. Do not record others without informed permission and a lawful purpose.
08Suspension and closure
We may restrict access proportionately for fraud, security threats, unlawful services, unreliable identity/credentials or serious breaches. We will explain the reason and allow a response where reasonably possible and legally permitted; urgent protective action may precede notice. Contact Support to request review.
You may request account closure. Outstanding consultations, refunds, historical charges and balances must be resolved without automatic forfeiture. Closure does not erase legally required records or extinguish valid payment obligations. The Privacy Policy explains the member closure grace period and retained records. Experts remain responsible for accepted work and legitimate adjustments to earnings.
09Responsibility and remedies
Each party is responsible for losses attributable to its breach, negligence or unlawful conduct under applicable law. Market outcomes are not guaranteed, but this does not excuse deficient service, misleading claims or platform failures. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, breach of mandatory privacy duties or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
A party seeking reimbursement for a third-party claim must establish the other party’s wrongful conduct, causation and reasonable loss, notify it promptly and permit a fair defence. There is no obligation to indemnify Finvestalk for its own wrongdoing. Statutory consumer remedies, refunds, complaints and access to competent courts or consumer commissions remain available.
10Law, changes and contact
Indian law governs these Terms. Disputes may be raised through Grievance Redressal and taken to a court, consumer commission or regulator with lawful jurisdiction. No exclusive city forum or mandatory arbitration is imposed here. A support process does not shorten legal limitation periods.
Events outside reasonable control may interrupt service; affected parties must take reasonable mitigation steps and account for undelivered paid services. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue. Material contractual changes will have a new version and require appropriate notice and renewed acceptance for affected services; they do not retrospectively change completed transactions. Contact Support or use Grievance Redressal.
