Public articles, calculators and general explanations are educational. A paid consultation may involve personalised professional services; its legal nature depends on what is actually provided, not the word Expert or a disclaimer. Finvestalk operates discovery, communication, billing and support and retains responsibility for those functions.
02Regulated services and credentials
Personalised securities/investment recommendations, financial planning, research reports, model portfolios and buy/sell/hold calls can fall within SEBI requirements. Insurance solicitation/distribution, portfolio management, lending and other restricted activities have their own rules. Such services require valid applicable authority and the required client safeguards before being offered. A general qualification or NISM examination alone is not a SEBI registration.
Identity/profile checks and bank checks are not the same as professional or regulatory verification. A platform badge is not a guarantee of advice, returns or suitability. Check the specific qualification, registration, scope and status relevant to your service. Finvestalk does not claim a regulatory licence or approval merely because a listed Expert has one.
03Financial, tax, insurance and loan risks
Investments can lose value, including principal. Market, credit, liquidity, concentration and currency risks vary by product. Past performance and calculator projections do not guarantee future results. Never rely on promised profits, assured approvals or a claim of a risk-free market investment.
Tax and legal outcomes depend on your facts, documentation, applicable period and the authority’s interpretation. Insurance cover depends on the insurer’s policy wording, exclusions, disclosures and underwriting; a consultation does not bind an insurer. Loan eligibility, terms and approval are decided by the lender. Do not send investment capital, premiums, tax payments or loan deposits to an Expert through an informal channel.
Consultation charges and financial records
Members add money to their Wallet and pay each expert’s listed consultation rate; there is no member plan or subscription. Expert chat rates start at ₹10/min and audio rates at ₹15/min; the actual listed rate may be higher. Expert platform access has no paid plan or subscription. The one-month access trial does not waive the fixed 30% commission on the consultation base price. Applicable GST is added to the member charge; applicable TDS is withheld from expert gross earnings.
Tax examples describe product configuration, not a guaranteed statutory rate or personal tax advice. Your saved transaction, invoice, credit note and earnings statement are the records of the amounts applied. Finny must retrieve those records when answering account-specific financial questions.
04Finny is AI
Finny is an AI assistant, not a human Expert or a representation of professional authorisation. It can make factual, legal and calculation errors and may lack current information or your full circumstances. Verify important outputs against original sources and a suitably authorised professional before acting. Its tools and disclaimers do not make unauthorised investment advice permissible.
The Privacy Policy describes stored AI conversations and configured providers. Do not share passwords, OTPs, PINs or unnecessary sensitive documents. Review any proposed platform action before authorising it.
05Third parties and service interruptions
External information and links may change. Verify their authenticity, dates and applicability. Finvestalk remains responsible for its own selection, integration and representations to the extent required by law; a third-party dependency is not a blanket exclusion of responsibility.
Chat, audio and video depend on devices, networks and service availability. Report interrupted or undelivered paid service under the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Finvestalk is not an emergency response service; use appropriate emergency, banking or law-enforcement channels for urgent threats or fraud.
06Your rights
This Disclaimer does not waive consumer rights, excuse misleading statements or remove lawful remedies for deficient service. Read the Terms, Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy alongside the particular Expert’s lawful engagement terms. Raise concerns through Support or Grievance Redressal.
